Start with the basics and begin with cleaning tasks that require some time to dry or soak in, so that you can move on to others while this is happening. Wash the dishes, sweep the floors, and do some tidying up and throwing away. Once you’ve completed those tasks, move on to more in-depth ones, but break them up in your mind. When cleaning your bathroom, for example, think about the basin, toilet, and shower/ bath as individual units needing cleaning, instead of worrying about the room as a whole. Clean your house from one side to the other so that you don’t get any cleaned areas dirty again from having to cross them.
